Choosing a right material structure is also important for making a pouch. If you put in food, you need to consider food grade material firstly. Secondly, consider your food style. Solid or liquid, Powder or Granules, Hard or soft, dry or wet, all these feature will effect the choose of material. Thirdly, you need to consider how you would like the pouch look and what you care about to protect the foods. If you would like it to be completely opacity, you could choose pure aluminium material as middle layer. If you would like it to be semi-transparent, you could choose VMPET semi-transparent coated aluminium material as middle layer.
If you care about moisture proof , you could choose high barrier pure aluminium or good barrier VMPET material. Then think of bag style such as stand up pouch , 3 side seal or back seal , zipper pouch etc.
